We have been hit hard where there is anything about Freeing Burma. Or with the writer they chose to write their Stories here from the USA. So They came via MySpace, MSN, Multiply, Care2 and now followed to WordPress. How are they doing it? They are trying to attack my Photo Albums via Care2 and Via MySpace link throught a Buffalohair Birthday wishes:) and left a emotions kiss. Yes they wiped out Buffalohairs Gazette but we are rebuilding and it looks even better then before! Multiply got right on it when a couple of Groups where most of Buffalohair News Stories about Burma are and got the Groups up and running Thank You so much for your help!

For journalists and information feeds that report news from Burma it is all too apparent we are under assault via the internet, one of my sites being a casualty. It is also obvious other entities such as governments are using the same tactics in an effort to stop the flow of information. It is nothing more then a new form of censorship since this is the primary goal of all nations and people who are using this new tool. Rather than face public distain for censorship, just do it behind everyone’s back.
As we enter into a new phase of change the need to control the flow of information and freedom of speech will be a very real priority. Democracy as we knew it has disappeared from the face of American government as well. Though $700 billion was a small price to pay the dividend was the death nil of Democracy. It also paved the way for more “Bail-Outs” that benefit only the very top of the grand pyramid scheme called the stock market. The real reason our elected officials did not listen to the voice of the people is really quite simple. They are the ones whose fortunes will be saved by this and other bail-outs that are sure to come. Also, bailing out these companies who’ve squandered trillions world wide will give the perpetrators of this grad swindle a “get out of jail free” card. Sure there will be a few scapegoats for slaughter and they will make headlines. But the real masterminds will be sailing their little white boats and enjoying the fruits of their deception. US citizens will walk the streets while picking at the crumbs of what was once their life in a nation that has forsaken her people.
There is no getting away from the hard times ahead no matter how much money we are extorted out of by corporations with these bail-outs. It should be obvious as the nose on your face we are not being represented by our government. Our officials are catering to the global corporations they are personally invested in, simple as that. In these desperate times it is every man for himself and we-the-people are not in the mix. The fact millions of American’s have already lost jobs, homes and dignity with no relief of any kind should be an indicator that only a select few are privy to government sponsored bail-outs. Statistics have been skewed to show employment rise when in actuality it’s just people being booted off unemployment insurance roles. If compared to the rise of Social Services applications one would see where the formerly unemployed went and it’s not new jobs. The jobless, hungry and homeless are seeking government housing, food stamps and medical assistance in a desperate struggle to survive. Then there are politicians who scoff at the notion of helping the poor and the elderly. Trillions should have been spent on the quality of life of every citizen of this nation. That alone would have spurred growth and a healthy economy. Possibly there would have been more honor and respect in this environment. Healthy mind, body and spirit would have conjured more innovation and Earth friendly technology. But alas, investing in humanity has no place in the corporate bottom line.
We did not address the criminally inspired Enron Loophole and all the criminality it gave corporations so we better be prepared fore your wallet is still a target. Since speculators still rule the roost we can no longer depend on accurate stock figures since they still are rigged, legally I might add. As the top of the financial food chain secretly liquidates risky stocks, John Q is being fed a bill of goods as well as being fleeced by politicians from both sides of the arena. Of course there will be a cure for this international monetary disaster and it will be a one world economical structure of some kind. This will be the Big Move by Corporatists to control the world monetarily. By bending us over a financial barrel we will choose the lesser of two evils, Democracy or Security.
Benjamin Franklin said;
“Those who give up essential liberties to purchase a little temporary safety deserves neither liberty or safety”
Around the world students of true democracy are fighting to save their nations from corrupt governments. The culprits are the usual corporate funded regimes whose landscapes are filled with natural resources and pesky indigenous people. Asian nations are struggling with corruption verses democracy as well as annoying freedom of speech and human rights issues. Thailand is in chaos since their Prime Ministers keep coming up dirty. England has become a partner in crime by giving safe haven to former Thai PM Thaksin. He is the dude who jumped bail and fled to England. Now he wants to be a British subject since the Thai court convicted him in abstaincia of corruption, holay. He owns an upscale ball club in jolly old England as well. So pip, pip and all that rot eh.
Silently, Public Radio and TV stations are disappearing, one by one as federal funding becomes another tool in the war on freedom of speech. America is under siege and democracy is the first casualty. With the internet well on the road to corporate censorship whether by regulations or virus attacks the air waves are soon to follow. Democracy has no place in a world of Corporatism. The voice of the people is a cancer to the corporate bottom line. The merger of state and corporate power has spawned a new generation of ideologies focused on monetary control. It’s the same ole, same ole, someone wants to rule the world but money rather than G*D will be the marching song in this battle for control. Guess that keeps me out of the fight since they already cleaned my clock. Fact is they cleaned the clocks of many friends already. Guess the best tool in censoring the voice of the people is to silence the people themselves. Poverty is the greatest censor, out of sight out of mind.
Imagine what the internet or any medium would be if every unemployed, foreclosed, homeless and disenfranchised American still had a voice. The shear numbers of Americans living well below poverty level is shameful as it is let alone the vast numbers who are soon to join the ranks. So called civilized society would have to address the plight of the needy fore they could not be ignored. Hopefully society would be spurred to use compassion and actually help these human beings. Ah but all is not well in Lilliput and what most likely would happen is stricter laws and reasons to incarcerate those dirty vagrants. Of course, new prisons would be in order as we arrest the world. With the US Government becoming the world’s largest collections agency, debtor’s prison will become a reality. After all, the US is buying up bad debts boys and girls. Those debts are ear marked for future collections. The poor don’t get a break and will be hounded in the future by the Treasury Department and loose their drivers licenses, student aid and garnish wages. On the other hand, corporate embezzlers walk away free with a pocket full of loot. Oh well, ain’t nothing but a meatball Paisan.
Maybe censorship is way over rated now that I come to think about it. What’s the point of censorship if no one is paying attention anyway?

Does not really matter which dogma you reside in since the signs of change are pretty much universal eh. The secret to survival is written in every religion of the world. The teaching of brotherhood, fellowship and peace as well as investing in moral fortitude, faith and forgiving are also shared and equally ignored attributes. The division between good and evil was as obvious as black and white but we’ve managed to expand the proverbial “gray area” that separates the two. For what ever reasons, we’ve compromised our moral ethic for some B.S. called the “Greater Good”. There is . . . . Link to more of the story!!
As the web of corruption places a strangle hold on world economies and retirement accounts disappear, be prepared for more false hope and promises. Now that We the People are on the ropes, government will come out with an interesting deal that will tie world economies together. In all actuality it will be the segway Bush and the One World Buffs staged so they could make their calculated move to secure corporate rule around the world. The Bail-Out only secured the fortunes of the top of the Grand Pyramid Scheme called the stock market. Guess no one paid attention . . . . Link to more of the story!!
RENO, Nevada (AP) -- A few tents cropped up hard by the
railroad tracks, pitched by men left with nowhere to go once the
emergency winter shelter closed for the summer.
Mack Martinez, 19, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passes time at a tent city in Reno, Nevada, on June 25.
1 of 2
Then others
appeared -- people who had lost their jobs to the ailing economy, or
newcomers who had moved to Reno for work and discovered no one was
hiring.
Within weeks, more than 150 people were living in tents
big and small, barely a foot apart in a patch of dirt slated to be a
parking lot for a campus of shelters Reno is building for its homeless
population. Like many other cities, Reno has found itself with a "tent
city" -- an encampment of people who had nowhere else to go.
From Seattle to Athens, Georgia, homeless advocacy groups and city
agencies are reporting the most visible rise in homeless encampments in
a generation.
Nearly 61 percent of local and state homeless
coalitions say they've experienced a rise in homelessness since the
foreclosure crisis began in 2007, according to a report by the National Coalition for the Homeless.
The group says the problem has worsened since the report's release in
April, with foreclosures mounting, gas and food prices rising and the
job market tightening. iReport.com: What are tough times forcing you to give up?
"It's clear that poverty and homelessness have increased," said Michael
Stoops, acting executive director of the coalition. "The economy is in
chaos, we're in an unofficial recession and Americans are worried, from
the homeless to the middle class, about their future."
The phenomenon of encampments has caught advocacy groups somewhat by
surprise, largely because of how quickly they have sprung up.
"What you're seeing is encampments that I haven't seen since the 80s,"
said Paul Boden, executive director of the Western Regional Advocacy
Project, an umbrella group for homeless advocacy organizations in the
California cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland -- and in
Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington.
The relatively tony
city of Santa Barbara, California, has given over a parking lot to
people who sleep in cars and vans. The city of Fresno, California, is
trying to manage several proliferating tent cities, including an
encampment where people have made shelters out of scrap wood.
In
Portland, and Seattle, homeless advocacy groups have paired with
nonprofits or faith-based groups to manage tent cities as outdoor
shelters. Other cities where tent cities have either appeared or
expanded include include Chattanooga, Tennessee; San Diego, California;
and Columbus, Ohio.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development
recently reported a 12 percent drop in homelessness nationally in two
years, from about 754,000 in January 2005 to 666,000 in January 2007.
But the 2007 numbers omitted people who previously had been considered
homeless -- such as those staying with relatives or friends or living
in campgrounds or motel rooms for more than a week.
In addition, the housing and economic crisis began soon after HUD's most recent data was compiled.
"The data predates the housing crisis," said Brian Sullivan, a
spokesman for HUD. "From the headlines, it might appear that the report
is about yesterday. How is the housing situation affecting
homelessness? That's a great question. We're still trying to get to
that."
In Seattle, which is experiencing a building boom and an
influx of affluent professionals in neighborhoods the working class
once owned, homeless encampments have been springing up -- in remote
places to avoid police sweeps.
"What's happening in Seattle is
what's happening everywhere else -- on steroids," said Tim Harris,
executive director of Real Change, an advocacy organization that
publishes a weekly newspaper sold by homeless people.
Homeless
people and their advocates have organized three tent cities at City
Hall in recent months to call attention to the homeless and protest the
sweeps -- acts of militancy, said Harris, "that we really haven't seen
around homeless activism since the early '90s."
In Reno, officials decided to let the tent city be because shelters were already filled.
Officials don't know how many homeless people are in Reno. "But we do
know that the soup kitchens are serving hundreds more meals a day and
that we have more people who are homeless than we can remember," said
Jodi Royal-Goodwin, the city's redevelopment agency director.
Those in the tents have to register and are monitored weekly to see
what progress they are making in finding jobs or real housing. They are
provided times to take showers in the shelter, and told where to go for
food and meals.
Sylvia Flynn, 51, came from northern California but lost a job almost immediately and then her apartment.
Since the cheapest motels here charge upward of $200 a week, Flynn
ended up at the Reno women's shelter, which has only 20 beds and a
two-week limit on stays.
Out of a dozen people interviewed in
the tent city, six had come to Reno from California or elsewhere over
the last year, hoping for casino jobs.
"I figured this would be
a great place for a job," said Max Perez, a 19-year-old from Iowa. He
couldn't find one and ended up taking showers at the men's shelter and
sleeping in a pup tent barely big enough to cover his body.
The casinos are actually starting to lay off employees.
"Sometimes I think we need to put out an ad: 'No, we don't have any more jobs than you do,"' Royal-Goodwin said.
The city will shut down the tent city as soon as early October because
the tents sit on what will be a parking lot for a complex of shelters
and services for homeless people. The complex will include a men's
shelter, a women's shelter, a family shelter and a resource center.
Reno officials aren't sure whether the construction will eliminate the
need for the tent city. The demand, they say, keeps growing.

“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety”
The
demise of democracy had little fanfare as the American public allowed
corrupt politicians to brow beat them into submission. President George
W. Bush, resorted to extortion and blatant lies to intimidate and
coerce a panicked and confused public. Though the vast majority of the
population of the United States vehemently disagreed with the Bail-Out,
both the Democratic and Republican politicians heavily invested in
these stricken markets approved the bill securing their fortunes.
Complacency
will be rewarded with tyranny as we evolve into a darker era of the
human experience. There was more at stake other than the $700 billion
every man; woman and child would pay embezzlers and extortionists
though. What was at stake was the very essence of what democracy was
all about, “The Voice of the People”. I hate it when that happens. But like the ole saying goes, “Use it or loose it” and frankly we lost it. Oh well, ain’t nothing but a thang homeboy/girl. We became a patsy
as they say on the streets. And you know what happens to a patsy right?
This is easy, they get pinched again. Fact is, they get pinched and
pinched until they run or fight. Usually a patsy will just run rather
than dole out “insurance” money.
From
a street kids point of view they pulled off the perfect crime and it
will go down in the annuals of the Greatest Capers of all time.
Possibly this could be considered a hostile corporate takeover since
the country was not in favor of this pay off. But if you don’t care
than neither do I. World domination and totalitarian ideologies will
flourish under the guise of commerce and free trade I fear. The seeds
of war have been planted and cultivated in the garden of death already.
But
on the bright side, if you’re invested in the war machine you should do
quite well. Granted you’ll be living in an underground shelter of some
kind while more lucrative wars are fought on US soil. After a few years
you’ll feel the walls of the shelter closing in on you. The stench of
confined humanity will fill your nostrils. Filters that recycle the
water will fail, the water will become rank a fetid. One by one people
will begin to loose their minds.Complaints about months of macaroni
and cheese will erupt into a full scale riot. Grappling for control,
internal police would kill hundreds of the inhabitance of the shelter.
Fleeing
for your life you discover an old pathway that leads to “The Outside”.
Slowly you make your way through the dusty old corridor. You notice a
faint light down the tunnel and you make your advance ever so
carefully, the light gets brighter. As you approach the door to the
outside your heart is beating out of your chest. Taking a deep breath
and mentally preparing for an existence where survival of the fittest
is the law of the land, you plunge through the door and out of your
self made underground hell. Then, Bam!
Later,
sitting by a fire, I’ll be munching down like a bad dog on a giant drum
stick. On the rotisserie will be one of those fat pink things that come
out of that hole once in a while. Yum, pass the garlic salt please. OK,
OK, OK, maybe I had one to many cups of Kona eh.
“So long as injustice and oppression and exploitation of man by man and
nation by nation continue the world must come time and again to fall
into the grips of Nemesis.”
Bogyoke Aung San
Truly the father of Burma’s Independence and national hero Bogyoke Aung
San also was a guardian of true democracy. A champion among his peers,
Aung San dedicated his life to the service of his nation and people.
Months before his vision of Burma’s independence came to pass, Bogyoke
Aung San was assassinated. Yet even in death Bogyoke’s spirit lived on
in the hearts of a nation . . . . Link to more of the story!!
As
the President and all our so called representatives of the people give
horror story after horror story if we don’t buy into this bogus
Bail-Out you have to wonder what people are thinking. The fact they
added more Pork to the already expensive Corporate Bail-Out should be
an indicator of exactly how corrupt our system of government has
gotten. If you don’t see it, then you deserve what is about to happen
in America, the death of Democracy. Why are we allowing criminals to
put a gun to our heads and force us to agree with this Bail-Out? They
. . . . Link to more of the story!!
The
Government of the United States of America has sided with Industry and
Corporate interest’s world wide against the citizens of this nation.
President Bush addressed the “citizens of the world” when promising to
deliver OUR cash today. Why are we buying bad debts in Europe and the
UK as well??? Why do we have to pay world markets? I never agreed to
nor voted on any of this crappola. The leadership of the Democratic and
Republican parties is struggling to get their constituents to agree
with an unconstitutional 700 billion dollar corporate Bail-Out. The
desperation in some of our congressmen’s eyes shows they have a vested
financial interest in this Bail-Out as well. Their concerns are not for
the nation’s financial future, just theirs.
With millions of US
citizens living on the streets after loosing their homes from disasters
and foreclosures and social issues including education, employment,
healthcare and social security simply ignored, why the fuss over some
embezzlers who’ve bankrupted their companies? Of course GW made his
pitch to try and hustle the public out of 700 billion dollars. And it
was not surprising when presidential hopeful John McCain joined the
band wagon but when Barack Obama poured on the steam in a most eloquent
speech begging the public to buy into the Bail-Out, I knew we were
done. What a bummer since it should be obvious we don’t have a
candidate for the people. Fact is, John and Obama are in GW’s court,
like it or not. They are siding with corporate interests.
Why
didn’t Nancy Pelosi, George W. Bush or any of those big talking
politicians rush an emergency education or healthcare Bail-Out for the
citizens of this nation? Millions of American engineers and technical
specialists lost their jobs as companies moved to third world
countries, no one bailed them out. Communities across America resemble
ghost towns with all the foreclosed houses already. Why didn’t these
families get a Bail-Out? How come the Independent Truckers did not get
a Bail-Out when they could no longer afford to operate? Surely you
remember tale after tale about patients who’ve died because of callous
insurance company decisions to stop or deny treatment. Now these goons
are on the ropes and want sympathy and our cash. Knowing the times we
live we better prepare for another war or some bombing that will
justify military intervention. That always seems to follow when GW does
not get his way. Maybe he’ll get his cronies in the oil industry to
punish us again.
Why does the banking industry world wide need
America’s money anyway? Oh, I forgot, it’s that New World Order thing.
With Bush vowing to European investors he was going to push the 700
billion dollar bill through its obvious this Bail-Out is directed
towards investors, investors around the world. George made promises to
foreign governments that we were not made privy to. These secret
business transactions with foreign money markets by our prez are
totally illegal at best. This whole process is unconstitutional and a
total disregard for the tenets of this nation. It’s all about this One
World Economy thing GW and his pop wanted all along.
According
to a CNN report e-mails flooded the house as well as the 1-800 numbers
overwhelmingly anti-Bail-Out. But our voice does not matter nor does it
count it would appear. You are not being heard and we are living with a
renegade government who is not respecting the will of the people. This
is a dictatorship in the making and this is a crime against the
American people. It’s a corrupt government against the citizens of the
United States. The bazillion bucks George and his henchmen want is
paltry in comparison to the lost of Democracy, freedom and civil
liberties.
A Crap Sandwich is a Crap Sandwich no matter how
many condiments congress, Obama and John puts on the Sandwich. It’s us
against them as a trillion dollar multi-national industry tries to
extort the American public. With the media and both political parties
safely in their pockets they are making their move with GW Bush’s
blessings. Hello New World Order, good bye Democracy. The signers of
this Bail-Out Bill are committing treason and you are asleep at the
wheel.
It’s almost laughable when I think about it. A nation
founded on the principles of freedom and democracy that murdered, lied
and raped it’s way to becoming the leader of the free world. A nation
who systematically burned villages, raped and slaughtered innocent men,
women and children. Then in an attempt to finish the Indigenous people
off they fed rancid food and offered cholera infested blankets to the
survivors of America’s epic act of genocide. Just so you know, most of
my people are not to horribly concerned since this national take over
will be meaningless to us anyway. Like the changing of the guard we’ll
get a new handler who will give us nothing, like before. My relations
will still have no running water and extension cords will stretch
across the red earth of Oklahoma from one house to another. Duct Tape
and plastic will still be covering our broken windows during the cold
winter months. In reality we’ve been in a “recession” for better than
500 years. So when the votes are finally counted and the fate of
America and Democracy is cast in stone, I’ll reach across the prairie
and offer you a bite of my “Crap Sandwich”, Bon Appetite’
