Burma’s Secret War the Corporate World Wants to Keep Quiet

As the world celebrates Suu Kyi’s landslide victory (again), sanctions are already being lifted as if all is well within Burma’s borders. Sadly nothing could be further from the truth as ethnic cleansing and wholesale genocide continues unabated in Kachinland. It is a hoax and a bold faced lie that Burma is moving in the right direction but it’s a nice piece of theatrics for those who enjoy melodramatic fiction. Ask a Kachin and they will tell you their nation is under siege as the world ignores rape, murder and wholesale genocide. And sadly, Suu Kyi remains Burma’s most beautiful hostage.

Though the Kachin or Jinghpaw people are all alone in the world fighting for their very existence, valiant soldiers continue to counting coup against insurmountable odds against the fetid Burmese Army. Most recently a team of *KIA troops along with volunteers from the Peoples Army captured and destroyed a critically strategic check point at Pangsai (Kyukok) in Shan State. Unfortunately this crucial victory as well as the growing numbers of internally displaced Kachin people has gone under the radar of the mainstream media globally. The use of chemical and biological weapons against Kachin civilians has also become non issue since the world remains oblivious.

The realities of Burma’s ethnic cleaning operation continue to elude the press it would appear. But after some research it is clear as to why crimes against humanity being committed in Kachinland go underreported or ignored entirely. The parent companies of many western and international news groups have been and continue to be invested in Burma. Just remember that major corporations from throughout the world have always been in Burma siphoning off trillions of dollars in profits from natural resources while lining the pockets of corrupt dictators from Ne Win to Than Shwe. Sanctions, what sanctions for they were ignored in the most elaborate money laundering operation in the world.

The real purpose in forming this sham civilian government was to sugar-coat existing corporations who violated impotent sanctions in the first place. Now that modern technology is starving for rare earth minerals, uranium, gold and other precious commodities Kachinland is prime real-estate since its rich with these natural resources and more. Another fetid reality of the war in Kachinland is that corporate interests of the free world are allowing Burma to do their dirty work in eliminating the Jinghpaw people from this cornucopia of resources. Rather than face public scrutiny, especially during election time, they are buying politicians who favour  global expansionism for the sake of investors and the corporate bottom line, much like they are doing in South America and Africa. Sadly their hands are red with Kachin blood in spite of their triangulated support of Kachin genocide through the puppet regime of Thein Sein.

Woefully underestimated by the western world, the Kachin Independence Army is a disciplined, articulate and well oiled fighting machine. Their legendary military prowess saved thousands of allied lives in the Second World War, or did you forget that part? It is said that one Kachin soldier is equal to 1,000 Burmese soldiers. But in all reality I would double or triple this calculation for they are achieving the impossible in spite of the junta’s use of aircraft, biological & chemical weapons and all the advance technology that is at their disposal. This is more likened to David and Goliath for this conflict is of biblical proportions. And it is though absolute faith within their Christian faith they are achieving the impossible. Miracles upon miracles continue to make themselves known as the legions of greed and evil continue to be defeated in one bloody battle after another. In one instance the KIA ceased fire on inept Burmese soldiers who were obviously forced to do battle with the elite Kachin forces. The Kachin simply could not ethically fire on children who were forced to the front lines by cowardly elder Burmese troops. Many Burmese soldiers don’t share the concept of honour and valour and continue to rape and murder unarmed women and children when given the chance.

One Jinghpaw told me of how all Kachin soldiers realize they are facing certain death with overwhelming odds against them every time they go on a mission. Rather than instilling fear from this reality they find more raw courage and determination because they are fighting for their very existence and not just a chunk of real-estate. From their beloved general on down the fresh recruits they march with their iron clad belief system and it is proving to be the Kachin’s ultimate secret weapon. I’ve always contended that absolute faith within one’s dogma is the key to survival and the KIA is a perfect example of this axiom.

As the secret war in Kachinland becomes known around the world people from all nations are shocked that this struggle has gone so long without mainstream notoriety. It is not the people of these nations who do not care about the Kachin; it’s the corporate owned media who are ham-strung and disallowed from giving equal coverage of crimes against humanity that are being perpetrated on innocent human beings in Burma and Kachinland to this day. Already, the Kachin are finding more and more allies globally. People are asking questions about their politicians who seem oblivious to the cries of the Kachin people. Are these politicians in collusion with fetid and morally bankrupt corporations who are vested in the slaughter of the Kachin people? Just follow the money.

In any event Burma’s secret war against the Kachin people is no longer a secret as more people become aware of the atrocities being committed. Though Suu Kyi stole the headlines by winning yet another election it is clear there will be questions asked about why the Kachin issue is not being addressed. Why is it OK to ignore the wholesale murder of innocent Kachin people? The answer is really quite simply, Suu Kyi is still a hostage and powerless to do anything or she will finish out her years under house arrest. The world already betrayed her after she won the 1990 presidential election. The world sat idly by as her supporters were murdered in Depayin during a failed assassination attempt in May of 2003. She spent most of her life in confinement after that bloody event. The Saffron Revolution of 2007 was yet another massacre nations did nothing but sit idly by and make spineless watered down sanctions. She can very well be tossed in jail today and the world would still do nothing but gawk and make fanciful speeches to their electorates to look like they are doing something.

After all, the sham constitution of 2008 still gives the Tatmadaw absolute control no matter how many seats the NLD holds in parliament. But if you actually paid attention to what Suu Kyi says, she is not in favour of lifting sanctions no matter what the mainstream and pro junta advocates purport. And this juncture, I will give her the benefit of the doubt. But for my Jinghpaw brothers and sister they already see the handwriting on the wall and realize they must stand alone. Well except for their Red Indian cousin because I stand with the Jinghpaw and will always stand with the Jinghpaw. And if they die, I may very well die with them if the opportunity arises.

LONG LIVE THE JINGHPAW, YOU ARE NOT ALONE…….

Buffalohair, A Personal Accounting of the Dallas/Fort Worth Tornado of April 3rd 2012

Residing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area has many rewards. From culinary to cultural this region of Texas is chock full of fun and exciting places to see, a night life to die for and a rich blend of arts and entertainment. But nothing could have prepared me for the extravaganza that transpired on Tuesday afternoon, April 3^rd 2012. Like they say; “Everything is big inTexas, including tornados”

I had just finished producing the Smooth Show and was in the process of producing the Mingalaba Show, a broadcast for the Burmese communities. Had my trusty Irish made Sennheiser headphones on and was in the middle of doing a monologue for the show when I heard an irritating ticking sound. I checked my gages and found no anomalies in the system as I was recording. Irritated, I pulled off my headphones only to discover someone was pounding on the front door. At first I thought it was a raid of some kind, a flashback from a less than savory youthful past. So I’m no cherry, get over it. At least I’m not a due faccia (two face) politician responsible for the death of millions of innocent people for the sake of corporate and investor interests.

Since I had nothing to hide I made my way to the entrance. As I approached the door I could hear an older Mexican America woman shouting, “El Apuro del señor, por favor! Tornado! Tornado! Apure, por favor!” In laymen’s terms, “Get your ass out of there bonehead, there is a tornado about to blow your dumb ass to Arkansas”. I opened the door to find a little old Mexican grandmother with three babies in her arms as she frantically made swirling motions with her hand while clutching her grand children. Umm, I got her drift and went back into the studio just for a second and poof, she was out of there. How considerate of her to risk her life for some stranger she does not even know. She was truly a hero in my eyes since she did not have to stick around like she did in the heat of disaster.  

The story gets a little stupid because I was wearing only a longyi, a traditional clothing item men wear inBurmaand other Asian countries. OK, OK, OK, so it resembles a long skirt by narrow American standards but it’s a custom I enjoy when visiting my Burmese friends who wear longyies. The ‘boys’ enjoy the freedom as well and what the hell, I was in the studio recording a Burmese show. For all the writing I do about ‘preparedness’ I was caught in a dilemma. Since the longyi is tied in the front, I had no boxers on and was barefooted I really needed to done more cloths for a host of reasons. One being I did not want to be caught buck naked dead or alive in the heart of CowtownTexas if my longyi accidentally fell off. I did not care to explain what a longyi is to astonished cattlemen either. “Umm guys, this is not a dress and quite peeking under my skirt, err longyi” Being barefooted with the possibility of lacerating my feet on broken glass was another very real concern.

Eventually Mr. FEMA Trained former emergency manager, moi, finally made my way out of the studio after a heartfelt farewell to my video and sound equipment. I did have my ‘grip’ or bug-out bag in tow as I made my way to safety. There was no hail in my neck of the woods but the rain drops were like buckets for they were gigantic. There was no visibility to speak of and I did not see a funnel cloud but I did hear a train in the distance through thunder and lightening strikes that appeared to be all around me, holay! As I approached a designated tornado shelter people were already coming out and told me that the twister was on the east side of I-35w. Fortunately I was on the west side. The sky was still dark with a funny hue and the torrential downpour continued. It was quite eerie and surreal.

When I returned to the studio I turned on the boob tube to get more information on the tornado I encountered only to discover there was another one on the ground to the west of me and it was making its way toward my location, gads. In my infinite wisdom I posted some comments on Facebook and Yahoo then made a dash for my trusty iron pony and like before, rain and lightening was doing a number. I made tracks for a clearing (Home Depot Parking Lot) so I could shoot some pictures since I was surrounded by trees and buildings at my previous location. How far beyond stupid was that eh? And I still did not get a good shot, just thick gray clouds that did not show the enormity of the situation. I did get a soda and a Snickers Bar at the QT though. It was business as usual at the lumber yard until I told an employee about the second twister to the west of us though.

All the while I could hear my Cousin Antonio’s voice telling me to ‘take pictures’. Antonio is a world class photographer and his work appears around the world including the silver screen, most recently the film ‘Holy Man, The USA vs Douglas White’, a ‘must see film’ by the way. He takes many mortally intrusive risks to photograph history in his on going career so you can imagine his zest for picture taking at all costs and maybe a taste of insanity as well. Guess it runs in the family eh. Unfortunately I did not take that special shot of the twin twisters I was surrounded by and there was a rumor a third was on the ground. Eventually meteorologists reported between 12 and 14 tornados during this swarm. The last swarm of tornados I experienced was in the middle of the night on a desolate Oklahoma highway outside of my reservation a few years back. That was another experience I will not soon forget. I was literally dodging twisters left and right since all I could see was their silhouettes during lightening flashes. The road did appear a bit breezier than normal. Doh!

They say the Creator protects babies and fools. In this instance I was the latter since I did not follow any safety precautions and could have been blown all the way to Indiana for my lackluster performance. Maybe someone should pencil in ‘journalists’ to that saying. But you just had to be there to understand where I was coming from since I was totally ill prepared and not dressed for the part. What a time to make a fashion statement. But I’m in good company since first responders and tornado chasers were out and about as well as fellow journalists including news helicopters but they did not have a longyi on. And no, I don’t have a matching handbag either for you boneheads that don’t understand Asian cultures. I do have a camera bag with the National League for Democracy flag proudly embossed on it though. For the record, my longyi was made in Burma and not in China, gawd.

But what pisses me off about this tornado story was some of the comments I got from people outside of Texas. Talk about hate mail, geeze. One person took on the persona of G*D and made light of Texans suffering from the rash of tornados. Hate baiting and alluding to prejudice and G*D’s wrath onTexas was the theme with no regard for the people who lost everything in the aftermath. For all intents and purposes G*D was with the good people of Texas because there was no deaths reported even though the tornados traveled deep into some of the most heavily populated areas in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and the state. And it just missed me.

Stories of heroism and survival abound including the tale of a grandmother who held an infant by the feet as a twister tried to suck the child from her grasp. There were people from all races helping their neighbors regardless of skin tone in the chaotic aftermath that followed. No one ever mentioned the race card for they were Texans helping fellow Texans blowing apart the ignorantly misconceived stereotype non-Texans enjoy spreading about this state. In an unrelated story the mainstream media tried to paint a picture of racial overtones during Tea Party rallies but they failed to mention that people from all races were Tea Party members here inTexas. I saw for myself as CNN tried in vein to ignore all the non whites holding Pro Tea Party Slogans on one broadcast. But that’s OK, let’s hate Texans.

Yup, let’s hate Texans and celebrate the destruction of homes and businesses of innocent hard working people from all races who suffered in the wake of these tornados. Maybe these haters should place a sign on their homes proclaiming their disdain for Texans. That way when disaster strikes their state Texan emergency workers who respond to national emergencies will not waste their time on people who hate them. Unfortunately, they would still risk their lives for you buttheads anyway, sign or no sign.Texas has thousands of emergency professionals including search & rescue, medical and fire personnel who respond to disasters across the USA and the world on a moments notice. So next time you bad mouth Texans just remember in the days to come, disaster may strike and it just might be a Texan who risks his/her life to save your stupid race baiting hate filled keister.

But for now, my prayers and heart goes out to everyone here inTexas who survived this catastrophic tornado swarm.

With Chinese corporations permeating the Asian restaurant scene within the United States I’ve been doing an on going investigation. Previous stories exposed some very disturbing facts about some mainland Chinese food corporations who use Taiwan as a store front. FOXCONN is a classic example of a Chinese shill corporation that abuses employees for fun and profit. From Human Trafficking to the sale of rancid food, I’ve uncovered some distasteful facts from many employees who work or worked in Chinese owned  kitchens. Now I have another update that will peel the varnish off your chopsticks.

In a gathering I attended with my Asian associates we got into another conversation about the Asian food industry. A Vietnamese friend of mine told a tale about a bogus Vietnamese restaurant his wife worked at. His wife got the job since she assumed it was owned and operated by Vietnamese here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area but sadly she soon discovered it was owned by a Chinese woman. My friend called the kitchen of the restaurant a ‘chamber of horrors’ because of its scurrilously repugnant nature.

The working conditions were similar to that of other Chinese owned buffets that dot the landscape, you work 12 to 16 hours a day with only one break, 7 days a week. For Chinese immigrants their plight was compounded by the fact many were illegal and worked as indentured servants in a tyrannical atmosphere. For a national to make waves to the Department of Labor would guarantee their families back in mainland China would be tortured and murdered. The language barrier and the fact they were illegal also was a factor allowing unsavory Chinese employers to abuse them at their leisure. Other victims, citizen or not, are completely oblivious to US labor laws and continue to abide by the caste system and accept their place as slaves.

Fortunately my Vietnamese friends were US citizens for several decades and not so willing to bow to anyone especially a Chinese tyrant. In fact the husband was a war veteran of the Vietnam the conflict. In any event his bride worked in the pseudo Vietnamese restaurant for only one week because the working conditions were so horrific. According to the husband when he picked up his wife at the end of her first week of employment he could not believe his eyes since she was so haggard. “I could not recognize her” he said. After just one week at the kitchen she appeared to age 20 years and that was when he asked her to quit. Then she revealed what transpired during her first week and only week of employment.

No one was allowed to speak to each other while they sorted dirty dishes. Sorting dishes consisted of getting plates from previous customers and taking out the ‘good’ bits of food and ‘recycling’ them. Shrimp, noodles, rice, veggies, egg rolls, soups, and other foods that were not eaten by previous customers were sorted and placed back in the heap for resale, yummy. They would isolate all the good looking food with no teeth marks and discard only a fraction of the remainder of the used platter. Imagine all those dishes of used food entering a production line to be reused on someone else’s plate for that is exactly what they were doing. Boneheads rant and rave about ultra lean meat falsely labeled as ‘pink slime’ while real garbage is being served up piping hot across the country.

Is this a new revelation about some Asian proprietors? Nope, if you read my older *stories you would know this is actually old news since this is common practice in many unscrupulous Chinese Buffets and sushi bars. I’ve interviewed a multitude of people within this industry and for the most part they are scared to death to say a word to outsiders. Since some folks don’t have legal status in America they would face death whence they were deported back to China if they said a word to the health department. It is a Catch 22 for them since they loose either way.  So it’s a win, win situation for morally bankrupt Chinese entrepreneurs because silence is the order of the day. With no regard for the working caste replacing disgruntled employees is just a matter of a simple coded phone call back to mainland China and voila; the order is filled with new and obedient slaves. The trouble makers are dispatched and their families back on the mainland are harassed or murdered for this blatant act of disobedience. Illegal aliens who disappear are not missed for they never existed in the first place. It all works out.

Malaysia is a hot spot for human trafficking, there is no question but there is another route many Chinese kitchen workers arrive that does not garner much media attention and that is the trusty old shipping container. It is said many people die from asphyxia in containers and their bodies are simply discarded like rubbish whence discovered by people other than port authorities. It is hard for a container filled with dead and bloated bodies to go undetected at customs but some do. Others perish when container ships sink like the one off the coast of New Zealand did a few months back. In any event human trafficking has become more innovative as shipping technologies continue to expand and evolve globally. Like notable Progressive Billary Clinton once said; ‘There are way too many people on earth’ so what’s the big deal about a few dead Asian peasants anyway? It’s all about the corporate bottom line and recycling used food is probably not so bad after all. Waste not, want not eh…

Shipping containers from China have many commodities in them and according to some Chinese workers I’ve spoken to they were one of these commodities packaged and shipped to the USA. Once the shipping container cleared customs at the harbor it was delivered to a warehouse. The migrants were fed and watered then ultimately redistributed around the country to various Chinese owned and operated enterprises who ordered them. I was surprised these human beings did not have a bar code tattooed on them. Other means of access to the USA include the assistance of corrupt UN officials who assist well funded and organized human traffickers in garnering bogus papers (UN Name) to refugees. Once they are documented they’re shipped to countries to fill orders in yet another elaborate human trafficking scheme. There is no question migrant and refugees from around the world are utilized in this manner to suit the needs of other corporate thugs. Globalization at it’s best.

Young Asian boys and girls enter the country with bogus papers all the time and not just for kitchen staff. Their actual ages range from between 13 to 17 buy crafty UN officials that reassign them 5 to 15 years older when drafting their new and improved birth certificates. So it all works out for people in the restaurant and sex trade supplying them with cute slaves they can use and abuse at their leisure. One sushi proprietor used to order gals out of Malaysia to the pleasure of him and his workers like he was ordering pizza or a Harry Potter DVD. Then he would sell them to other store owners or traffickers within the USA and Canada. Ordering women out of Asia is not relegated only to unscrupulous Asian restaurateurs either. It’s a cancer that has infected other cultures, particularly those with affluence who can afford this luxury.

On a side note I was made aware of an Asian man who was actually in his late 20’s but was issued an ID and UN name making him to 17 years old, again. He was attending high school and having a field day with teenage girls. Maybe I should go to Malaysia and get a new improved UN name and be 39 years old legitimately. Unfortunately I am not Asian and my age clearly shows an old native dude who was rode hard and put up wet. Toss in a few scars, holes, burn marks and a bad case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, I seriously doubt I could pass for 39 either. UN name and ID or not I would still be an old buzzard with anger management issues. Maybe if I dyed my hair blond, spiked it, worn an Anime tee-shirt and baggy pants that revealed my color coded boxers. Hmm, I wonder…………..

The sex slave market place is booming throughout the United States and Canada. Young guys and gals are subjected to every kind of abuse imaginable including torture and death. But this is another story. When I cover stories about Chinese employer abuses the issue gets muddled since it gets hard to differentiate between the food & labor and human trafficking issues since they appear to run in unison. Mainland Chinese front corporations out ofTaiwan are notorious for food and employee abuses. They are a pocks to the food industry as a whole since criminality flourishes with corporations that have the blessings of the World Trade Organization and their member, the  Chinese Communist Party. Chinese oligarchist’s disdain for Americans is all too apparent in the foods they serve us. Ask a Vietnamese about the garbage China sends their people in Vietnam, from tainted milk to tainted pork and the list does not stop there.

In defense of legitimate Chinese and other Asian entrepreneurs there are many excellent Asian Buffets & Restaurants that don’t use and abuse their employees, let alone serve pre-eaten foods. I’ve explored Asian restaurants around the country and it’s been a wonderful culinary experience for the most part. Why am I so lucky? Well, I always eat where the Asians eat and if I want to explore a new kitchen I simply ask one of my friends. They know where to go and it’s a foodie’s paradise if you know what to look for. Rule of thumb; if restaurant employees appear scared and un-talkative like they have something to hide, that is not a good sign and chances are they do have plenty to hide. Beatings and torture are more common than not from the hand of Chinese handlers within the USA so there are many secrets these enslaved people must endure and recycled food is only one of them. In a nation that ‘harvests’ human organs from Falun Gong, Christian and Buddhist slaves the atrocities being committed here in the USA and Canada are relatively mild by Chinese standards.  

Some employees will watch as unsuspecting people load their plates with foods they know are tainted and used. Eyes are very telling and y’all need to pay attention. I’ve seen this many times in my travels and I’ve walked out of places that filled this criterion with no hesitation in Asian and non Asian restaurants. I learned the hard way and paid the price with the squirts for not paying attention to this detail, if you get my drift. Health departments do inspections and leave a rating at the establishment. Granted some jurisdictions are more active than others so policing diners is an issue generally speaking. On a positive note; if per chance you’re in the Dallas/Fort Worth area **Hong Kong Market Place is an excellent place to begin your Asian culinary adventure, Yee Haw! It’s like taking a trip to Asia without getting felt up by TSA. Hmm, I miss the intimacy though.

The pink slime scare is probably the most ridiculous news story to come across the wire thus far. The real story should be about how the general population can be lead around by the nose to believe anything without facts. Apparently few people have butchered and prepared meat and have no clue what pink slime really is. How far beyond stupid is that?


Within my tradition hunting and butchering our kill is a part of life and survival for the most part. There are plenty of other cultures who over the years evolved even more techniques to salvage the animal’s renderings such as haggis, sausage, tripe and menudo. The list of seemingly undesirable portions consumed by man goes on and on. Brains, testicles, sphincter as well as the animal’s skin are eagerly consumed as a delicacy all over the world including the USA but now people are freaking out over the use of finely ground meat, pink slime. No one dares mention how people clean the ka ka out of the gut and intestines in the US but rest assured in other countries there are ‘gifts’ left behind. I’m still here and I’ve eaten plenty of ‘exotic’ foods from around the world.

Have you ever butchered your own food or even have a clue what it feels like to fondle the inside of a dead moose or bovine? If you did then you would not be one of the mindless lemmings who are ranting about the evils of pink slime because you already know the drill. The insides of an animal are slimy feeling, much like humans, just kidding. Slice up a raw steak and look at your blade homeboy/girl. See all that squiggly finely ground pink or red stuff that did not make the cut as a T-Bone? Imagine butchering an elk then look at your butcher block with all those tiny chunks of meat and slimy portions that are lying around. We place them in the grinder and add them to the hamburger since there are other parts of the animal with red meat that we simply don’t waste. With wild meat we also add suet or hard fat to our burger since wild game is so lean. If not, the burger gets all crumbly.

But this is not a story about how to process your own food, it’s a story about how stupid the general public is and how they will believe anything they read without researching the facts first. Pink slime is just fine renderings from a wide variety of cuts of meat like steaks, chops, roasts and so on. It does not even come close to animal intestines or gut that is consumed everyday around the USA for it is pure meat from some of the finest cuts of beef plain and simple. If we believed everything some bonehead with an agenda says about foods we would be calling Alaskan salmon ‘Sea Kittens’ and leave bowls of milk alone the Susitna River, gads. Oh oh, I better be careful or my favorite fishing spot will be littered with bowls of milk. Mac Donald’s mystery meat burgers are chock full of beef parts and it’s not all NY cuts either.

I am not a fan of Genetically Modified Foods and fortunately pink slime is not a GMO contrary to what some spin doctor may tell you. But in a nation that has turned its back on American companies it is no surprise our lemming population has closed the doors of another US firm, Beef Products Inc., over bold faced lies. You call yourselves American’s yet you choose to persecute an innocuous meat processing company over something you do not know or understand in a heretic mentality. Now the pink slips for hundreds of American workers will soon come to pass all because someone lied and lied big time about so called pink slime. The real slime ball is the person or organization that perpetuated this myth in the first place. This wreaks of s second agenda anyway.

Why don’t we question real issues like the nuclear industries use of the environmental movement to promote ‘clean’ nuclear power? So what if our planet is contaminated beyond our wildest dreams with radiation from disaster after disaster causing newer and better cancers. Addressing the issue of thousands of people poisoned from the ‘side effects’ of prescription drugs would be nice. Genetically modified garbage and the creation of super bugs would make a nice conversation starter. Dare we mention how Bill ‘GMO’Clinton opened the Pandora’s Box of GMO foods allowing Monsanto lackeys into American government? Naw, lets not since he is one of the pretty presidents who can lie at his leisure and every loves him in spite of his random acts of treason. Speaking of Bill the Shill, why did he ignore the Haitians while bolstering the iron ore industry in Haiti after the quake? Follow the money paisan.

But nooooo, lets rant and snivel about pink slime with no clue what the truth is because that is the new American way, to cast judgment without knowing the facts. That is just messed up. On well; when you snooze you loose and America is asleep at the wheel again. Small wonder we are living in a time of change and now I see why Ma Earth is pissed off. Next on the hit list will be menudo & sausage but I think the Scots will put up a fight over their haggis. Eventually all meat will come from test tubes or gleaned from human waste in the ultimate act of recycling and corporate profiteering. And yes, you will have it your way…..

My heart goes out to those Americans who will loose their jobs over a carefully calculated lie. But in the land of lies, it’s business as usual.

Clearly the Everone/Ludwig Files that were released to public access during the attempted take over of the California Valley Miwok Tribe have opened up a Pandora’s Box. Writhe with names, dates and personal transmissions from some of the most affluent politicians in the United States of America spells absolute corruption. The Everone/Ludwig Files clearly identify conspiracy and corruption from billionaire politicians and developers alike whom chose to break both state and federal laws while under the guise legality. 


The paper trail I followed began with Dianne Feinstein and her personal friends formerly employed within the California Gambling Control Commission whom still enjoy strong and influential ties to that organization and the Bureau of Indian Affairs who have in violation of The Federal Code of Regulations (CFR 25) once again as in the past withheld tribal funds in essence effectually starving the CVMT out of existence. Though the Miwok were vindicated and Yakima Dixie disgraced, admitted to the original lie that originated this sham in the first place, the tribe is still without means. It was with the stroke of Under-Secretary of the BIA/DOI Larry EchoHawk’s pen on the re-affirmation of the department’s final agency action that mature status contract funding is now being wrongfully withheld from the tribe in spite of the totality of the fraud perpetrated against this proud and impoverished sovereign tribal nation. Guess that means that, if you’re rich enough and have political standing you are above the law and fraud is acceptable conduct as in the case of Dianne Feinstein and all her political and bureaucratic cronies.


I’ve only scratched the surface of the over 2,500 files Chadd Everone/Ludwig painstakingly collected. Frankly I was overwhelmed by the shear number of politicians and businessmen, carpetbaggers and gold-diggers that were involved. Senators, Representatives and Congressmen on both sides of the isle are implicated and their personal e-mails tell a very compelling story of absolute corruption just to build a casino. The California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger was involved according to an e-mail from his office. Even the military was not spared by the Everone Files since it clearly identified a retired Rear Admiral of the US Navy who was trying to gain control of Treasure Island as a possible location for the casino, “Once the Tribe is secured”. What a shame it is to realize Indian Wars are still raging within the borders of The Land of the Free.


The frosting on the cake was when Chadd Everone/Ludwig casually stated to a question in open testimony what amounted to that Albert Seeno flew Congressmen George Miller to Washington in his private jet on numerous occasions to visit with Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein, Barbara Boxer and other influential high ranking elected officials to discuss the Miwok situation. There is a vast amount of information on these political figures and government employee’s, more than I could possibly relate in the confines of this story. It’s a good thing these juicy tidbits were made available for public record for there are more people implicated in this wholesale miscarriage of the public’s trust. Just for the record the University of Berkley, Californias’ Anthropology and Sciences Department cronies of Everone were in on the scam up to their eyelids according to documents, e-mails and other transmissions Chadd managed to collect.


Though there will be many more future revelations the Everone Files will undoubtedly expose there is another story here I do believe. What was Chadd going to do with all the documents he copied and stored on his web site? From all indicators it would appear he was collecting the goods on all the politicians he could get his hands on since these doc’s are very revealing to say the least. But wasn’t Albert Seeno his co-conspirator? Why was Chadd collecting the goods on Albert & Associates and another investor named Kuna as well as all the dirty politicians this scam brought into the limelight?


There is no honor among thieves and it would appear Chadd Everone was ultimately working for himself since his files are very incriminating to everyone involved. On the streets there was once a code of silence. Guess Chadd failed Wiseguy 101 and now everyone he was associated with will have to pay the price for his wikileaking in the now infamous Everone Files. With insiders and soon to be revealed co-conspirators in the DoJ it’s a small wonder none of these players need to worry about raids from the feds. The Everone Files also identify DoJ employees who are currently in ca-hoots and like I said, this is only the tip of the iceberg since I’ve only read a hand full of documents at this time. The business contract Yakima signed was a total fraud giving “Friends of Yakima” controlled exclusively by Chadd Everone, absolute financial control of the tribe while sidestepping well established federal Indian law. Yakima’s last will and testament was another masterpiece in fraud since it made Yakima’s descendants culpable for payments for generations to come. Chadd himself authored this document and being no attorney his lack of legal prowess is obvious.


On a side bar Chadd argues he was a PhD even though he never received his degree from a credible university. He simply decided he was a PhD, just because it makes him feel smarter. Eventually other journalists will wade into Chadd’s 2,500 documents and dig out even more salacious material on elected officials who’ve shirked their duty and betrayed their oath of office. Some of the largest developers in California also face some major challenges for their participation in this fraud. While the world is astounded at the magnitude of corruption involved in the attempted destruction of a sovereign tribal nation, the California Valley Miwok Tribe will continue to live and run the tribe on unemployment checks and USDA commodity foods. In America, in this day and age, really? Is this only as far as we have come in addressing the civil rights and legal and moral obligations to Americas federally recognized tribes and their members? How far beyond stupid is that? What is next for the CVMT? Death threats and crank phone calls are commonplace and just another day in the life for these people. Starvation and robbing them of their tribal income failed to eliminate them. One thing is for sure, now the world has an eye on the California Valley Miwok Tribe.

We are revisiting a story that was posted last week on another site. But do to technical difficulties or mad politicians the other site was unable to share this piece. Therefore we are reposting this story before we run the rest of our series on the Everone/Ludwig Files and corruption against native people. 

 The California Valley Miwok Tribe made history and legal precedent preserving the rights of every federally recognized tribe in the United States of America. They faced insurmountable odds against powerfully connected well funded developer’s and corrupt state and federal officials. They wanted to highjack the Miwok tribe for the sole purpose of building a gambling casino. The plot thickens because elected officials were also involved in this travesty.

Chadd Everone/Ludwig, Albert Seeno, Sheppard Mullin and an army of politicians from both sides of the isle at state and federal levels have been exposed. Over 2,500 documents, correspondents and court filings downloaded from Chadd Everone/Ludwig’s web page identify senators, congressmen, state and federal officials from the BIA, DoJ and other agencies. This intricate web of corruption has plagued the CVMT for over 12 years as they struggled to save their tribal sovereignty. The incendiary documents prove beyond a shadow of doubt the Tribe was targeted to steal their blood lineage by unscrupulous well funded people. Chadd cried foul but court officers verified the site was open to the general public and not hacked. Call it a Native American Wikileaks but the information gained was priceless.

Documents revealed Senator Dianne Feinstein went out of her way to stop the tribes 638 funding through crony’s Jerry Gidner of the BIA & Arlo Smith of the Gaming Commission in an effort to starve the tribe out of existence. In one response Jerry told Dianne not to worry, letting her know the fix was in against the tribe. She denied involvement or knowing the criminals involved in the Miwok scam but documents and e-mails prove otherwise. It was just a coincidence she was a fellow trustee of a bank with one of the culprits or maybe she forgot. Dianne’s involvement in the casino scam and debasing the tribe is all too apparent, even a blind man can see the CVMT was a victim of fraud and her fingerprints are all over it.

Dianne’s husband’s association with unscrupulous developer Al Seeno alluded to even more collusive activity against the Miwok People. Unfortunately she was not the only high profile politician who used her influence to destroy this feisty band of natives. Documents reveal deep involvement with other high profile politicians in bed with common criminals and its well worth the read. The implications strike at the core of democracy itself and this is only the tip of the iceberg. There is much more to disclose but I am not privy to reveal them at this time. But rest assured the Miwok are still under siege as their counsel’s continue to peel off the many layers of corruption this case consists of.

Money talks and California still refuses to give the tribe their funding that was withheld, to the tune of $8 million, as unscrupularity plays out its final hand. Sheppard Mullin threatened to drag out this case in perpetuity. The federal government is still in the arrears to the tribe with a bill in excess of $600,000 and it is clear corruption is still waiting in the wings. To make things even more convoluted, the tribe is yet to be allowed the opportunity to appear in a hearing involving their case. This is disturbing since it was also revealed some judges have bias against natives. Why does that not surprise me?

Hopefully the feds will not allow the bogus Newok’s, (a term to describe bogus Miwoks with no heredity) into the legitimate Miwok Nation when the final decision comes to pass. Though this tribe proved their legitimacy as the true CVMT, the courts still skirted the return of tribal funding that was illegally withheld. CVMT Director of Economic Development/ Consultant Tiger Paulk likened this to a Pyrrhic victory since the CVMT won but at such a continuing and devastating cost to the true tribal people and their wellbeing. They are still in limbo with no funding for infrastructure, social services, healthcare and the basics of any community but they don’t have to worry about someone stealing their identity. After all, who would want to be a federally recognized tribe with no means of survival other than food stamps and commodity cheese? Hmm, I like commodity cheese.

Under the stewardship of Larry Echohawk of the BIA justice was served, almost. From the tribes point of view the government vindicated the tribe and its sovereign rights as a federally recognized people. Unfortunately the government threw them under the bus while further litigation continues since they left the tribe to fend for themselves in spite of their vindication. How far beyond stupid is that? Or was it intentional? On the bright side, the Obama Administration did manage to extend unemployment benefits. This is a blessing to the tribe since they have been fighting for the sovereign rights of all tribes inAmericaon unemployment checks and spare change. The irony I found was the fact many nations did not want to get involved or show solidarity for this tribe but now tribes are using the precedence the CVMT made in federal court involving sovereignty issues. I was amazed at the lack of simpatico when I approached a native radio show in an effort to garner more exposure back in 2007. “They will never win” was the response I got. Well bonehead, just be glad I don’t snitch you off for your callous disregard for this nation’s plight.

Later I learned from several elders why some tribes were hesitant to speak out. No one wanted to loose what meager funding they already were receiving for fear of retribution from ruthless BIA officials. Knowing now how deep corruption runs within the BIA it is a substantiated fear indeed. From Tiger’s perspective it was not about the money as much as it was about retaining their birth right and tribal identity. There was plenty of misinformation to swirl around as well and many people did not know the actual facts about the case. Spin doctors peppered the communities with bold faced lies as Newok’s ran around pleading their case to all that would listen. Some folks were very convincing but a lie is a lie no matter how they dressed or what they said.

Tiger Paulk spoke to me as to the tribes’ point of view; “They would rather be the last California Valley Miwoks on earth and if they died, the tribe would die with them and cease to exist rather than giving up their lineage to imposters to falsely represent the tribe for all time.”

It was not about stealing a tribe from some saintly old man named Yakima Dixie. It was about saving the CVMT from unscrupulous investors and developers whom manipulated an individual member and tribal elder to sign his nation away in a realm of fraudulent documents written up by Chadd Everone/Ludwig acting as an attorney.Yakimawas no cherry but in his defense he was also swindled from the start since he was not allowed legal representation when Chadd drafted the infamous documents. Chadd was not an attorney and had no authority to draft such a document in this guise further compounding the fraud. Eventually, in federal court under oathYakimacame clean and recanted all the fraudulent claims he made against his own people leaving egg on the faces of politicians, developers and bogus Newok’s. Tiger said at that moment in the room where Mr. Dixie’s sworn deposition was also being videotaped was precious since all the fraudsters present lowered their heads while their counsels franticly whispered in dismay. Isn’t that special?

Having tribal documents that substantiated the legitimate CVMT claims also weighed heavily against the criminal cartel of politicians, developers andYakima. But the coup de grace and most incriminating piece of evidence in the case came from Chadd Everone/Ludwig via his information packed web site for it gave names, dates and e-mails from all players in this case. The detailed files and correspondents were most illuminating and showed total disregard for the law from politicians who were elected to enforce them. Developers faired no better since the dialogue uncovered a conspiratorial relationship that is unacceptable in a civil society. The files are a smoking gun that will truly raise eye brows for years to come. The revelations are sure to taint even the most illustrious political careers of so called public officials and history will not be kind. It would be interesting to note what other cases these harbingers of fraud are involved in and there is no question the web of corruption will grow as the contents of Everone’s files are fully realized.

There are no words that could do justice in describing Tribal Chairperson Silvia Burley. Educated, articulate, determined and well versed in tribal law, Silvia is a cut above and even in the face of total disrespect from attorneys and government officials she forged forward. In spite of threats to her and her nation’s lives and livelihoods she marched forward in true warrior flare. Tiger Paulk calls her the Miwok SEAL with regard to her ‘special forces’ like prowess in the in all matters concerning the tribe. The dark side to this case is the fact veiled threats flew against her and her people. I guess you can toss in courage for she stood her ground and refused to back down or give an inch. Legal Counsels Robert A. Rosette LLC and Manuel Corrales ESQ are proof nobility still exists in the world for their legal expertise in this case is priceless.

There is no question I left out volumes of interesting and incriminating details within the context of this story. I suggest you log onto the California Valley Miwok Tribe site.
