Yes, Apache culture is alive and well! Apache doll was made for my daughter, Rhiannon, by Coyotero Apache Roberta Cody (an astonishing natural beauty whose smile would resurrect Lazarus in a heartbeat). Dolls in cradleboards are common since Arizona made it illegal to transport babies in cradleboards. Neither the State Legislature nor the Department of Transportation can cite one single instance where an Apache cradleboard failed a crash test, but instead of a cradleboard of natural, resilitent materials constructed with prayers, babies must now be transported in plastic/nylon webbing "safety" seats which transform healthy babies into quadruplegics every day of the year.
