52nd Cherokee National Holiday activities have expanded to include a
traditional Indian food cook-off on Saturday, September 4 on the
grounds west of the Cherokee Nation complex, which is located 3.5 miles
south of Tahlequah, Okla. on Hwy.62.

Video Housing Authority Dedicates Elderly Housing Development with Ribbon Cutting
The
Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation (HACN) conducted a dedication
ceremony for Wisdom Keepers, a Tahlequah Senior Housing Tax Credit
Development, at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 27, 2004. The public senior
housing development, a 40 congregate unit complex, is located at 1286
West Fourth Street, in Tahlequah.
