More for you forum-idable folks who visit our humble board! We've reshuffled a bit, yes. But more--A new forum dedicated to "Da' Media," which includes print, radio, television, the internet, and our newest addition, BLOGS.
Why? Because more every day, blogs are becoming influential in covering and reshaping news coverage. For me, at least, this is tremendously exciting, since the media consolidation in recent years has stifled unfettered speech and ideas our First Amendment was built upon. (Okay, I'm getting a bit preachy here, but it's absolutely true.)
Blogs represent the old town crier. They're loud at times, indeed. Some are wacky, others are shrill and crude, and a few are funny and informative and absolutely awesome. (We'll avoid the wacky, shrill and crude and stick with the funny, informative and absolutely awesome.)
So come on down to our forum...and share your favorite Native arts and culture blog. It's all good:) Blogs, Bloggers and Blogging
