U Win Tin National League for Democracy Senior Officer, better known as “The Man of Steel” has been at the gates of Insein Prison since Daw Aung Suu Kyi’s arrival. Released from prison after spending 19 years, almost entirely in solitary confinement and left to die from illnesses, has held his ground. With his spirit unbroken and still very much alive this warrior of democracy once stated, “I will keep fighting until the emergence of democracy in this country”. *U Win Tin is defiant even with threats to his life by junta thugs.

It is known the Union Solidarity and Development Association (USDA) and the paramilitary group Swan Arr Shin have made threats to U Win Tin’s life. Undaunted, U Win Tin refuses bodyguards and stands defiant. Man of Steel and full of love for his country U Win Tin has become a beacon of courage and principle for the people of Burma and refuses to compromise his ethics in spite of his age and medical condition. He is a role for all Burmese people to emulate and this has made him a target for assassination by Gen. Than Shwe and his band of international criminals.

It is at this critical time in Burma’s history that the world must be vigilant and know that if this champion of democracy and morality is killed the criminal regime of Than Shwe’s Burma was wholly responsible for his murder. With the noose tightening around Than Shwe’s neck every day it is only a matter of time before the junta makes a move and begins another round of assassinations and secret kidnappings. This is junta justice better known as crimes against humanity at its best. The only problem is now like never before the whole world is watching.

Like the warlords of Somalia, Than Shwe and his band of cut throats and thieves are nothing more than thugs and do not deserve a place in the world arena. He is not a leader he is an extortionist who uses rape and murder to keep a country in bondage. He and his regime have violated every international law which places him in a category of criminal and undeserving of any consideration a leader of a nation. He was never elected by the people and only used force to gain control of this beleaguered nation. All Than Shwe and his generals deserve is to be arrested and tried in court for egregious crimes against humanity. His legacy will be nothing more than that of a mass murderer and all the corporations who’ve financed his escapades show be tried as co-conspirators.

Truly U Win Tin is one of Burma’s courageous patriots and deserves the worlds attention at this critical time.

In a spirited turn of events the military junta is seeking 3 additional years of confinement for Daw Aung San Suu Kyi for accepting John Yethaw (Rangoon Swimmer) into her home last week. This reeks of set up and a total denial of Aung San Suu Kyi’s rights even as prescribed by Than Shwe. As usual Than Shwe is penciling in laws to suite his political needs in defiance of even his bogus laws. Apparently he does not realize he is only furthering the resolve of pro democracy groups and now, the general public.

Another turn of events from reliable intelligence sources within Burma is news John Yethaw may be forced to admit to lies the junta has prepared for him. Either by torture or by administering drugs it is expected John Yethaw will admit to untrue statements with regard to the intrusion of Aung San Suu Kyi’s home last week. This will raise another issue since John is an American citizen and maybe subject to cruel and unusual punishment. The military junta has shown total disregard for international laws as well as their own and will stoop to any level to obtain their objectives. Extortion and torture are standard operating procedure as well as crimes against humanity.

There is no question John Yethaw will admit to some of the most vile allegations the junta can muster. Ironically it was an unnamed member of the security force who verified that Aung San Suu Kui was not at all amused by the intrusion early in the investigation. It was the same individual who clearly noted that Aung San Suu Kyi stayed in the second floor while John was relegated to the first floor. The rumor mill from the junta has already spawned myths that this was not John’s first visitation. But by saying so makes the security force guarding Aung San Suu Kyi’s home look inept and bungling at best.

As another journalist said earlier this week; “Only Aung San Suu Kyi will know the real truth” As we all know, the military junta and its publication “The New Light of Myanmar” are nothing more than propaganda machines filled with lies and fabrications. So be prepared for more sewage from the desk of Gen. Than Shwe fore the next round will surely be filled with salacious material in an effort to disgrace Aung San Suu Kyi. This will coincide with the efforts of the military junta to place Aung San Suu Kyi in prison for 3 years. After all, this is what it’s all about, eliminating ALL opposition to the illegal 2010 election.

As the winter storms roll through the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation in South Dakota an affiliate of Touchstone Energy Cooperative, Central Electric Cooperative, chose to cut the power to infirmed, elderly and family homes. With an unusually bitter winter thus far families were thrust into life threatening situations as power for their homes was summarily cut. Exorbitant reconnection fees gouged this impoverished American Indian Community as people were forced to pay what was nothing more than extortion.

The bitter irony to this situation was the fact a hydro-electric dam was built on their tribal land. The terms for construction were quite simple, give the tribe free electricity as the conditions for building the dam. Sadly that was not the case as yet another promise or treaty was broken in the interests of the corporate bottom line. The fact the power was shut off during the dead of winter was a clear violation of a long standing policy forbidding the removal of services such as electricity during winter. With the winter as extreme as it has been this year makes this a Human Rights Violation, plain and simple. The fact elderly people on electric medical devices as well as infants were living in these homes showed cause for a criminal investigation at the very least.

Where temperatures have dipped below -50 in one of the worst winters in as many years this was a crime against humanity. Leaving elderly people who needed respirators to fend for themselves in the bitter cold was a shear act of brutality. Leaving children to freeze in the harsh winter months was a total and callous disregard for life and all of which should be investigated and the culprit’s charges with crimes against humanity.

This shameful display of wanton disregard for human life will reflect negatively on Touchstone Energy Cooperative since Central Electric Cooperative is under their watchful wing. If it was not for the valiant efforts of Can-Do, a nonprofit organization, the smell of death would permeate the air whence the spring thaw came to this region. With extreme winter conditions still plaguing this region as of this writing the death toll may still be of significant consequence as storms pummel this impoverished region of America. The Central Electric Coop will surely have blood on their hands if death is the bounty for their conduct. Touchstone Energy Cooperative COO Jim Bausell will have to come up with some real answers as to why their affiliate decided to pull meters in the dead of winter. Is this the standing policy of Touchstone and their associates across the country or is this just the policy on American Indian Reservations? And why was the agreement to provide electricity to the people of the Crow Creek Sioux Reservation ignored? I would like to know and I am sure the whole world would like to know as well.

The world should know about this horrific state of affairs within the continental United States of America. The world should know the people who’ve chosen to disregard the basics of human rights and dignity as well as their associates for they are nothing more than common criminals. And if someone dies because of their gross misconduct they should be tried for murder.

Please take the time to review the video I provided and take the time to write your state and federal representatives to show your disgust. There is no question Touchstone Energy will have their corporate hands out to collect their share of Stimulus Money. They will want some of that corporate welfare to bolster their corporate bottom line. Sadly when it came to the good people of the Crow Creek Sioux Indian Reservation they could not show the slightest bit of humanity.

Innocent casualties of land mines

The angels of mercy within the jungles of Burma, The Free Burma Rangers, have made a personal request for medical supplies. With Than Shwe’s military government of Burma on a campaign of genocide he’s escalated his efforts of killing and maiming by the use of landmines. Scores of refugees fleeing government death squads have lost their limbs and their sight whence they encountered these deadly gifts of modern warfare. The jungles of Burma are riddled with landmines and with devastating effects. Men, women and children are having their bodies mangles, if they survive.

The courageous Free Burma Rangers are getting depleted of critical surgical supplies and are requesting a list of surgical supplies so they can continue their mission of mercy. The marked increase of innocent villagers found on the jungle floor crawling with limbs blown off or simply bled to death force the need for such a worldwide request for supplies.

As the reality of the Stock Market comes to light it is only obvious the whole system was corrupted and government officials were part and parcel co conspirators. As I’ve mentioned all along, this is the most elaborate Ponzi Scheme in the history of the world and it is time the public to woke up, for a change.

But again, the mainstream media is asleep at the wheel, possibly because of their corporate handlers, since they still failed to give you the complete story about this financial disaster. The magnitude of corruption is staggering according to whistle blower Harry Markopolos who for 9 years struggled to expose this massive fraud. The Securities and Exchange Commissions was either part of the scam or was totally intimidated by these power house Brokerage firms. Markopolos was also fearful for of his life.

Now for the blockbuster of blockbusters; With in Harry Markopolos’s testimony he identified a criminally corrupt organization that was knee deep in criminality and fraud. Though the SEC was incompetent to say the least but the securities industry’s self-policing organization; the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority was totally corrupt and involved up to their eye lids in fraud. The head of this organization during this period of absolute criminal behaviour was a person named Mary Shapiro. With her stewardship and guidance this crime was executed with no oversight intentionally. And if you were paying attention you would also know Mary Schapiro was appointed by Barack Obama to head the Securities and Exchange Commission this December. Talk about another fox watching the hen house eh.

How many other lacklustre, inept and criminal negligent people must Obama include in his cabinet before we realize Barack is either part and parcel involved in the total destruction of our government or is shamefully misguided by a staff of advisors with a “second agenda”? And now he is pushing a “stimulus package” that will not work since it is already known by economists Bail-outs never worked in the past and actually plunged out country deeper in Depression. Obama’s rush for the gold on the first bail-out was misguided at best. The bail-out was a clear failure at best and this one is sure to cause more harm than good. This is “Disaster Capitalism” at its best as International Corporatism tries to extort more money from the US taxpayer again. How far beyond stupid are we?

For government to promote borrowing and borrowing is completely wrong. Buying beyond our means was the axiom that was pounded into our heads while politicians invested in these mortgage lending firms and filled their coffers. Follow the money and you will see who is invested in these loan sharking corporations and it will show you how corrupt our politicians are. The first bail-out only masked or concealed other perpetrators in this elaborate Ponzi Scheme. These institutions should have gone broke like any other corporation involved in fraud. The end result would have been an example to other corporations who wanted to commit a crime against the people. And out of the ashes honest companies would have taken over where corruption once stood. It would not have been the end of the world but new beginnings within the business world for not all corporations were criminal. Now, the new bail-out will cover-up other fraudulent enterprises and reward criminals for bankrupting a nation and the free world.

We are on our way down and the sooner the better so we can rise up once again. There is no turning back the clock and it is time to face our reality rather than cushion the fall of corporate criminals for that is all this bail-out will do. Whence this bail-out failed our leadership will say, “Well we tried” and generations after we are gone will foot the bill and we will have extended our recession by years. That was the case with Franklin Roosevelt’s bail-outs. It is time to clean the slate of corrupt politicians and break the back of these international corporations who’ve long ago declared war on our constitution and democracy, all for the corporate bottom line.

I was sent two videos from a news correspondent she thought were worth passing on. The videos came from the Aberdeen Area Tribal Health Chairman’s Board. The video’s address the issues of second hand smoke on children. Warmly creative yet poignant the delivery was unlike other anti-smoking ads since the message was soft spoken yet the message was loud and clear. Targeted for the computer age audience as well as the youth, they will promote awareness in these cleaver animated videos.

The AATCHB is trying to send these videos around the world. And I think it would be cool to see if we can help them make it happen. The message is a good one. For more information;

ATTENTION CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS...............Zhang Xiaohong (also called Zhang Zhaohong), 29, was detained three times; twice while he was at the Mianyang Xinhua Forced Labor Camp, where he endured severe brainwashing sessions. Zhang had been bound and hung up for a whole night, police have beaten him until nearly every part of his body was bleeding. While being tightly bound with “police” ropes, he passed out. Police also shocked him on his mouth, neck, shoulders, body, and navel all at the same time which severely burned his skin.

With expressed permission from the good people of the Falun Dong Organization I am reprinting their latest news story. I would also implore you to research this story as well as log onto the Falun Gong site. With Bill Clinton’s granting China “Favored Nation Status” we the consumer have become a party to slave labor in a magnitude that staggers the imagination. The absolute brutality being inflicted on Falun Gong members in China is beyond imagination in its barbarism and cruelty. Clearly more than half the populations in China’s Slave Labor Camps are Falun Gong members.

American industries invested in China have become partners in the bustling slave labor market. As a favored nation China has found a way to extract every cent of profitability by utilizing cheap and affordable slave labor. The American public has become the “Enabler” as millions of slaves manufacture goods and supplies for American Markets. Part and parcel we the consumers are financing torture, rape and death of millions of innocent people who are being gathered and tossed in Gulags across China.

The toll in human life has been replaced by concerns for the corporate bottom line. Human beings work and die to produce end tables, cheap radios, clocks and cute little fuzzy toys for baby. Even chemicals and raw materials US Industry uses are produced from slaves who toil and suffer in conditions Hitler would be proud of. Take a look all around you and locate the Made in China sticker on it. Can you smell the dried blood or the cries of innocent people being tortured to death? Then take some time to find out what companies from the US are invested in China. Then log onto the Falun Gong site and see the fruits of your labor. By supporting these companies you must take credited for the blood bath and death that accompanies each and every item you purchase. Imagine a US President, Bill Clinton, paved the way for millions of innocent human beings to be enslaved in Gulags till death. We’ve become a partner in crime and wholesale genocide. Urgent Appeal: Widow of Olympic Torture Victim Faces Immediate Sentencing for Practicing Falun Gong

After husband died of torture, wife is at risk of long-term imprisonment

New York—The widow of a well-known musician and Falun Gong adherent who died from abuse in police custody is scheduled to be sentenced to a potentially long prison term in a Beijing Court on Tuesday morning Beijing time (Monday evening EST).

Ms. Xu Na and her husband Yu Zhou, a popular folk band member, were arrested in Beijing on January 26 while returning home from a performance by Yu’s band. They were stopped by police at one of many check-points setup throughout Beijing in the run-up to the Olympics as part of Beijing’s efforts to stamp out potential dissent before the Games began. During the stop, police discovered they were practitioners of Falun Gong.

Eleven days later, Yu’s family was told to go to the Qinghe Emergency Center. When his family arrived, they found him dead. (news) Soon after, Yu’s death was mourned in the Chinese blogosphere and reported on by The (London) Times (news). It was also included in a recent submission by Amnesty International to the United Nations Committee on Torture (news)

His wife Xu Na, herself an award-winning artist, has remained in detention since the couple’s arrest. In April, her family was notified that she was to be charged with “using a heretical organization to undermine implementation of the law,” a vague provision of the penal code commonly used to sentence Falun Gong adherents to prison terms of up to 12 years. (Amnesty report)

According to sources inside China, Beijing’s Chongwen District Court is scheduled to announce the result of the trial against Xu on November 25, at 9am (Beijing time). The court’s address is 10 Yong Wai Ding An Li, Chongwen District, Beijing.

Xu has been represented by Mr. Cheng Hai of Yitong Law Firm, a well-known human rights lawyer, who has pleaded Xu’s innocence. She was released in 2006 after serving a five year sentence for having lent her apartment to Falun Gong adherents traveling to Beijing to appeal to the authorities for an end to the persecution campaign. While in detention, she was reportedly subjected to torture, including beatings, sleep deprivation, forced-feeding, and being tied into uncomfortable positions for hours.

The Falun Dafa Information Center urges members of the foreign media and diplomatic corps to seek to observe the hearing, fully investigate the circumstances surrounding Xu’s trial, and call for her immediate and unconditional release.
